3D Art – Hundertwasser

3D Art – Hundertwasser

We made 3D Art based on the study of Hundertwasser. Using recycled materials, paint, cardboard and vivid’s, we created our own “Hundertwasser” houses.

I showed Resilience, Integrity because for resilience I keep trying when I couldn’t glue it was hard to keep the glue in your hands. For Integrity I didn’t talk to my buddy too much instead I focused.

My favourite part of my house was my water prime bottle. It was my favourite because it was really cool and it looked really realistic.

Bunny Explorer 🍄

This story is about a girl named Lilly and her pet bunny called Fluff. They entered a tunnel that led them to the top of a mountain.

Here we are called Lilly, finally. Okay time to go back said fluff, what no we just got here, so I want to get back to eat my pizza. Your right, my mum makes the best pizza. Wait how do we get back? Right throw that bush………. What bush there is no bush. You said you new the way back, I thought I did. Well clearly you didn’t. Wait I know how to get back you can smell right asked  Lilly yeah said Fluff. You can smell your way back! Your right. Now they headed home with Fluff leading the way. Now they made it home Okay.

Here is a picture of Fluff.

Advert

For literacy we had to do a PIE. For the PIE I chose an advert. For my advert I did 50% of bunny’s and it comes with free cages.

Here is my advert.

Earring Making

For action stations I did earring making. It was really fun

We used polymer clay to make the earring. There were lots of colours to choose from. In the end I chose all the pastel colours. We had little shape cutters to cut out the shape we wanted. I chose a leaf shape. On my leaf I did a flower design. It turned out so good.

But it was hard to shape out the design because they were so little. But again it was fun I am glad that I chose earring making. I recommend that you should try.

Here is a picture of my earrings.

Chinese New Year

You might wonder what they do to start the new year in china. Chinese New year is a very big  celebration in china for everyone to take part in. Chinese New Year normally happens in late January and early February. Chinese New Year is not normally hot because it is in spring. Some of the traditions are:

Clean their houses to sweep away bad luck, houses are decorated with red lanterns, and paper cuttings for good fortune. During the festival families share meals. Lots of the meals are long noodles, dumplings and fish. All  of these foods have meaning for example the longer the noodle the longer the life. Throughout the Chinese new year families eat lots of meat. So to give their tummies a rest  they only eat vegetarian food on one of the days. They also eat it to scare away bad spirits.

To finish this all of them have their dragon festival. It is to guide spirits to the right place and to scare away the monster. The monster is Nian. He used to come to eat the people in the small village.

Do you celebrate Chinese New Year?

I think Chinese New Year is worth celebrating because you get to taste a different culture and try some of the traditions. You should try to celebrate it.
